How Duel Mode Works

Duel Mode is designed for situations where you and your opponent are not in the same room but still need a quick, verifiable decision. Whether you're settling who gets the first pick in a fantasy draft, deciding who buys the next round of drinks, or breaking a tie in an online game, this mode ensures both parties witness the result simultaneously.

When you create a Duel Room, a unique session is generated. You simply share the link with your opponent. Once they join, the room is locked. Both players must click "Flip Coin" to cast their toss. Our system uses a cryptographically secure random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues()) on each device to determine the outcome, ensuring neither player can rig the result.

The results are held securely until both players have flipped their coins. Only then do the animations reveal the final outcome on both screens at the exact same moment. This zero-trust approach guarantees a 100% fair and transparent coin toss, no matter how high the stakes.
